Membership PDF Print

Since CEC is an international organization, all members must join through the international office. Select this link, www.cec.sped.org, to get to the international website. Choose membership and then follow the links to the application process.

There are three ways in which to join CEC:

  • register online
  • download the application and fax it to the international office
  • download the application and mail it to the international office .

Please pay particular attention to completing the line with your chapter number (refer to the chapter/subdivision section to choose the chapter closest to you), ensure that your email address is clearly written, and provide your postal code with your address.

Once you have joined CEC, you are automatically added to the membership list for Canadian CEC, Ontario CEC and your local chapter.

CEC also has 17 divisions that represent special interest areas in special education. These are also listed on the international website. All subdivision members must be CEC members and so on your application you must specify first the CEC membership (professional or associate) and then the subdivisions to which you wish to belong.
